The doll dropped 47 centavos to close at a selling price of 19.64 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges on Wednesday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.20 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 19.4493 pesos per dollar.
