The dollar rose nine centavos on Tuesday, to close at a selling price of 19.24 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 17.75 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 18.8334 pesos per dollar.
