The dollar gained four centavos to close at a selling price of 18.79 pesos Wednesday in Mexico City banks. The dollar was purchased at 17.98 pesos.
The euro lost four centavos to close at 21.12 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 24.81 pesos and 0.202 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.4971 pesos per dollar.
