The dollar rose 19 centavos in value to close at Mexico City currency exchanges on a selling price of 18.54 pesos. Banks purchased the dollar for 16.95 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank, Banxico, set the exchange rate at 18.117 pesos per dollar.
