The dollar dropped 25 centavos at the end of the week, to close on a selling price of 18.40 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 17.05 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 19.139 pesos per dollar.
