The dollar rose eight centavos on Monday, closing up at a selling price of 18.35 pesos at currency exchanges in Mexico City. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.85 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank, Banxico, set the exchange rate at 17.9321 pesos per dollar.
