The dollar rose nine centavos against the peso on Tuesday, to closing in Mexico City currency exchanges at a selling price of 18.34 pesos. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.90 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.9862 pesos per dollar.
