The dollar rose six centavos to close at a selling price of 18.31 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Monday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.80 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.9641 pesos per dollar.
