The dollar closed for a loss of seven centavos at Mexico City currency exchanges on Wednesday, finishing at a selling price of 18.27 pesos per dollar. Banks purchased the dollar for 16.80 pesos per dollar.Mexico's Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.907 pesos per dollar.
