The dollar closed with an increase of five centavos on Thursday, closing at currency exchanges in Mexico City at a selling price of 18.24 pesos. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.70 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.8733 pesos per dollar.
