The dollar finished Wednesday’s business with a one centavo rise, closing at a selling price of 18.13 pesos at currency exchanges in the capital. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.60 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.7836 pesos per dollar.
