The dollar fell nine centavos on Thursday to close at a selling price of 18.09 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the peso for 16.55 pesos per dollar.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.6886 pesos per dollar.
