Mexico City banks sold the U.S. dollar for 18.70 pesos, five centavos less than it had been sold at close last Friday. Banks were buying dollars for a minimum of 17.87 pesos.
The Euro lost four centavos, and was sold for 20.66 pesos. The pound was sold at 24.74 pesos, and the yen at 0.189 pesos.
The official exchange set by Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) rate is 18.4879 pesos per dollar.
