Ángel Mena, new receipt of Cruz Azul, was excited about his new adventure in Mexican soccer with his new team, where he will look to be the goalscorer that will take the team back to the top places of the league, return to the cup, and maybe even think about winning the title.

However, Mena acknowledged he knew nothing about Cruz Azul. “This next week I’ll be heading there. I don’t know much yet, but little by little I’ll get to know the club better.”

The striker will play his final game on Saturday for Club Sport Emelec, which plays in Ecuador’s Series A.

“I leave having given everything,” he said. “Now I’ll move to another team and give everything for them.”
