Videgaray Thanks Countries for their Solidarity After Quake

The earthquake was felt by at least 50 million people

Foreign Relations Secretary Luis Videgaray Caso thanked the different countries for their shows of solidarity in the wake of the earthquake that shook the country. The earthquake has been categorized as the strongest earthquake in 100 years, with a magnitude of 8.2 on the Richter scale.

On his Twitter account, he wrote, “The Mexican government warmly thanks the many displays of international solidarity we received after the earthquake last night.”

The earthquake was felt by at least 50 million people and was more intense than the famous earthquake of 1985.
