UAEM is Attentive to Workers’ Demands and Needs

Carmona Castillo congratulated the 73 workers in attendance for receiving their union registration and, along with it, labor stability

Javier González Martínez, Administrative Secretary of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico’s (UAEM) United Service Workers Union (SUTESUAEM), and Jorge Olvera García, UAEM rector, presided over a union event, celebrating the admission of new workers to the union. González Martínez said that UAEM carries on its strong humanist tradition in its sensitivity and attentiveness to its workers.

He said that Olvera García has ensured job security for all university workers this year.

The Secretary General of SUTESUAEM, León Carmona Castillo, along with the union’s director of Human Resources Martha Olivia Cano Nava, said that workers were being recognized for their professionalism and job performance. He said that UAEM, “Emphasizes the value of its human capital, which is where the real opportunities for institutional development are.”

González Martínez said that the university has a responsibility to promote and guarantee the quality of life and stability for its administrative workers.
