PGR Remands Four Detainees

Four suspects were detained in Tepito last week possessing drugs

The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) remanded four subjects who were detained last week with more than 80 kilograms of marijuana to the Reclusorio Preventivo Norte prison.

The department said that the people responsible, who are 42, 26, 25 and 19 years of age, were apprehended by Mexico City PGR investigation police officers.

According to the investigation, the events occurred in the Morelos neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough, where 20 packets containing 81 kilograms 458.4 grams of marijuana were confiscated.

The four subjects were remanded to Reclusorio Preventivo Norte, while action from the Judge Specialized in Justice for Offending Adolescents was called on for a detained minor.
