The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) reported that Jorge “N,” who is charged with fraud, was detained in Montenegro.

The capture was achieved thank to INTERPOL’s General Secretariat, according to the PGR.

The federal prosecutor said that the detainee has an arrest warrant issued by the 12th Criminal Court of Mexico City for fraud. He is accused of stealing 40,435,947 pesos ($2,271,390 dollars) from a television station.

Jorge “N” presented himself “as the partner of a moral person who contracted advertising services for the 2014 World Cup.” However, that advertising campaign was never paid.
