A video shows inmates forced to wear women’s underwear and clean the floors while being physically, sexually and verbally abused

According to a recent video that just started circulating the web, six inmates at the Topo Chico prison in Nuevo León were forced to clean floors naked or wearing women’s underwear while being physically, sexually and verbally abused by other inmates. It is possible that the abused as well as the abusers are members of the organized crime.

Among the half-naked men, the footage shows an alleged drug lord with an amputated leg who was arrested on February in Monterrey on counts of organizing kidnappings and  executions in the northern area of the city.

Despite the fact that cellphones are not allowed inside the prison and inmates must wear orange uniforms, the video shows otherwise, which contradicts statements made by state governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón’s that everything is under control after the death of 49 inmates in Topo Chico during a riot.
