Guajardo's European Tour

The Economy Secretary will embark on a tour to strengthen relations with two of the most important commercial partners in Europe

Economy Secretary Ildefonso Guajardo Villareal will be traveling to London and Hannover from April 24 to 27 as part of a tour to analyze Mexico’s commercial relations with the United Kingdom and Germany in light of Brexit and the modernization of of the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union.

Industry and Trade Undersecretary Rogelio Garza Garza and ProMexico director Paulo Carreño King will join Guajardo Villareal during the scheduled meetings with UK’s Secretary of State for International Trade Liam Fox, chairs of HSBC, Ernst & Young directors and members of TheCityUK to address the Mexican economy.

In Germany, Guajardo Villareal will attend the 2017 Hannover Messe to witness the signing of the agreement by ProMexico and the Deutsche Messe.

Mexico will host the 2018 edition of the Messe.
