Enrique Ochoa Reza Registers as Candidate for PRI Committee Presidency

Former CFE director registers his candidacy for the presidency of PRI's National Executive Committee

Enrique Ochoa Reza registered as a candidate for the presidency of the Institutional Revolutionary Party’s (PRI) National Executive Committee (CEN) with the support of different party organizations and sectors.

Ochoa Reza, former director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CEF), turned in paperwork that marks the start of the selection process. The event took place at the PRI national headquarters, with Ochoa Reza thanking the party for its support and acknowledging that change is necessary within the party.

The National Commission for Internal Processes received the candidates’ paperwork. The event was attended by PRI members, many of whom cheered the arrival of Ochoa Reza to register his candidacy.

Registration was open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
