Death Toll Rises to 58 after Mexico Quake

The deaths took place in Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco

Luis Felipe Puente Espinosa of Civil Protection at the Interior Secretariat (Segob) announced that according to the National Emergency Committee, the death toll has risen to 58 in the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco after the earthquake Thursday night.

On his Twitter account, Puente Espinosa wrote that 45 of the deaths occurred in Oaxaca, 10 in Chiapas and three in Tabasco.
