Chihuahua Government Asked Interpol to Arrest Duarte Jáquez

The former governor is currently a fugitive of justice

The Chihuahua State Prosecutor’s Office repeated their request to International Police (Interpol) to arrest former Gov. César Duarte Jáquez, who is supposedly in the United States.

This past Thursday the Prosecutor’s Office debunked the publicized version of events that was spread by media outlets and social media regarding Duarte Jázquez’s arrest in the United States.

The State Prosecutor’s Office said that the Chihuahua government requested the search, localization and detention of Duarte Jáquez through legal and diplomatic means.

It said that all the corresponding authorities will carry out all the necessary actions to apprehend Duarte Jáquez, who currently is a fugitive of justice.
