While doing a routine tour of the municipality of Apatzingán, military forces and the Public Security Secretariat of Michoacán managed to stop an armed civilian attack. They confiscated drugs, four vehicles reported as stolen, and several rounds of ammunition for an AK47 gun.

The incident occurred in the town of Las Yeguas, Apatzingán. The officers were approached by a group of armed civilians who fled the scene after the forces confronted them, leaving behind the four vehicles.

One of the soldiers sustained minor injuries, and a patrol car numbered 3137 showed impact of six gunshot fires.
