Alejandra Barrales Returns to the Senate

She pointed out there is no impediment for her te be reinstated as Senator and also keep her position as Party Chair

Chair of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) Alejandra Barrales Magdaleno announced on Thursday to the Board of Directors of the Upper Chamber her decision to resume her seat as Senator.


“I am determined to aid in the strengthening of the PRD and to have an impact in solving the critical problems the country is facing,” Barrales said.

Barrales Magdaleno also announced she will continue to lead the party and will serve as a liaison between the institution and Parliamentary Groups in order to bolster the PRD’s political stance.

She pointed out there is no impediment for her te be reinstated as Senator and also keep her position as Party Chair.
