THURSDAY

Sneaker Fever Party will kick things off with international renown DJ Le Castle Vania. The party starts at 8p.m. in Foro Normandie located in Calle Lopéz 15, Historic Center. Cover charge is 250 pesos and includes a day pass for the Sneaker Fever expo on Saturday and Sunday.

For lovers of the arts, Centro Cultural España presents a performance titled Dark Matter that seeks to hilight mysticism, feminism and the human condition through  music and choreography. The show is free and starts at 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

Foro Bizarro will be holding a 90’s themed Deckdance Rave Party headlined by famous Mexican act DJ Chrysler, who has performed alongside artists like Paul Van Dyke and David Bowie. The event starts at 8 p.m. and cover charge is 70 pesos before 12 a.m., 100 pesos after.

To celebrate Bastille Day, venue Pan y Circo is throwing a French Cliché party in which attendees are invited to dress in French clichés  like nautical lines, scarves, a baguette maybe… The venue is located at Álvaro Obregón 160 in the Roma neighborhood, general admission is 200 pesos or 100 pesos if you arrive “in costume”.

SATURDAY

Casa Quimera will host the first edition of the Wonderland Japan Bazar were you will be able to find food, plastic arts, culture music and small Mexican and Japanese businesses. The event starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m., Casa Quimera is located at Orizaba 131. entrance is free.

More than 5o Mexican fashion brands will come together at the Mexican Design Collective Sale pop-up store at the Blackberry Auditorium  in Calle Tlaxcala 160. this event gathers the best mexican designers who offer their products at a discount. The event is free.

Expo Reforma will be the site of Sneaker Fever, an expo that will offer the best of the sneaker world and where participants will be able to see, buy and trade sneakers, the event will feature the world famous sneaker artist Gary Lockwood a.k.a Freehand Profit . The expo is open from 11 a.m. to 7p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are 100 pesos for 2 days or 80 pesos for one day.

SUNDAY

Trafico Bazar 74 will have the best of Mexican design, food, music and enough mezcal for you to forget that Monday comes next. The event is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Colima 194 in the Roma neighborhood. Entrance is free.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Surf Open Acapulco: Chilangos’ favorite vacation destination will be host to this event that will include world class surfers from all over the world, concerts, expos and motocross. The event will be held at Playa Revolcadero. More info here.
