Mexico City banks sold the dollar at a maximum price of 18.87 pesos Friday, five centavos less than compared to yesterday’s close, and bought dollars at a minimum of 18.11 pesos.
The euro declined 17 centavos to be sold at 20.62. The pound was sold at 24.50 pesos and the yen at 1.191 pesos.
The official exchange rate, set by Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico), is 18.6089 pesos per dollar.
