Mexico City banks sold the dollar at 19.13 pesos at market close Wednesday, four centavos more than the day before. Banks bought dollars for 18.28 pesos.
The euro was sold at a maximum of 21.01 pesos. The pound and yen were sold at 25.15 pesos and 0.195 pesos, respectively.
The official exchange rate, set by Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico), is 18.8602 pesos per dollar.
