Daily Exchange: Dollar Down to 20.99 Pesos

The euro closed at 22.26 pesos, a three-centavo decline from Friday, while the pound and yen closed at 25.94 pesos and 0.215 pesos, respectively

The dollar closed at 20.99 pesos Tuesday, a five-centavo decline from Friday, at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.80 pesos.

The euro closed at 22.26 pesos, a three-centavo decline from Friday, while the pound and yen closed at 25.94 pesos and 0.215 pesos, respectively.

Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.5205 pesos per dollar.
