The dollar closed at a selling price of 19.65 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Wednesday, six centavos lower than on Tuesday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.57 pesos.
The euro declined four centavos to close at 21.99 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 24.95 pesos and 0.216 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 19.2554 pesos per dollar.
