The dollar was sold for a maximum of 19.23 pesos by Mexico City banks Wednesday, three centavos more than on Tuesday. Mexico City banks bought dollars for a minimum of 18.42 pesos.
The euro gained 16 centavos to be sold at 21.38, while the pound was sold at 25.55 pesos.
The official exchange rate, set by Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico), is 18.9117 pesos per dollar.
