The dollar ended the first day of this week’s trade up three centavos, closing at a selling price of 19.53 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 17.95 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 19.1070 pesos per dollar.
There was no trading on Monday because of the national holidays in commemoration of the birth of Benito Juárez.
