The dollar dropped six centavos in value on Thursday, closing at a selling price of 18.97 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 17.50 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank, Banxico, set the exchange rate at 18.5941 pesos per dollar.
