The dollar finished the week with a drop of 38 centavos, closing at a selling price of 18.95 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges on Friday. Banks bought the dollar for a minimum of 17.55 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate a 18.6859 pesos per dollar.
