The dollar closed with a drop of nine centavos on Tuesday, closing at a selling price of 18.22 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks bought the dollar for a minimum of 16.75 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.9160 pesos per dollar.
