Friday saw the dollar tumble in value, ceding 25 centavos to close at a selling price of 17.85 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.45 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.5613 pesos per dollar.
